What People's Say About Place

Our server, Justin, was really great. We got the shepherds fries (fries with beer cheese, shepherd’s beef filling, balsamic, and a drizzle of sour cream. I think next time I would order extra sour cream and no balsamic. There was so much balsamic it pooled at the bottom of the plate. The fish lunch special was really good. Nicely prepared, large piece of solid fish, good tartar. We really wanted to try the shark bite, but they were out of cider so we had a Harp instead. The atmosphere was great!

The in and out was reasonably quick, the food was excellent, the environment is just right for individual or small family gatherings, and the service was pretty on top of things. Couldn't find anything to complain about, except maybe the parking lot was a bit confusing at first. Went here to see if this was somewhere I'd take someone on a date that I had in mind. If she's up for it, I'd gladly return, and take her with next time.

Nice atmosphere, lots of room and a good amount of bar seating. Tried their pot roast, it was excellent. Not fatty and very filling. Mashed potatoes were tasty. I split the meal for a small fee but got a second side item so I tried the parmesan fries....worth it!

Justin is an incredible bartender and server. He was super helpful in advising us what to get. There was only 2 of us but as you can see from the photos we had a little bit of everything. And nothing disappointed us. The fish and chips were incredible. Eat the fish first while it's hot, and the chips/fries might possibly be the best I've had all year! The shepherds pie was piping hot and tasty! Cheddar soup had so much flavor I even dipped my fish and chips in it alongside the rustic bread ! Loaded mac n cheese was so appetizing and also beautiful! The way the cheese melted off as I pulled it up with the fork was so cool! I can't wait to come back next week when I come visit again!

From the greeting at the door, through the meal, to the handling of the check, our first experience at this restaurant was all positive: We ordered their fish and chips. Super good. We drank a brew a piece and they were ice cold and priced well. Our server, Tiffany, did a terrific job of taking care of us. Bottom line: good food, good atmosphere, good price, good service.

We visited McCracken's twice over a couple of weeks and tried a few different things. We really liked Pot Roast Dip sandwich. The beef was rich and yummy and the hoagy roll they use is the perfect roll for this sandwich. The Fish & Chips was also really good with generous portions of cod that were flaky and juicy. The batter was light and crispy. The Classic Cheeseburger was also good. It's a big burger with lots of cheese and was cooked perfectly. The bun was soft and fresh, the toppings were fresh and crisp, but the patty was a little bland; needed some spice and seasoning. Jonathan was our sever on both visits and he's awesome. He's a great ambassador for McCracken's. He was welcoming, friendly, attentive and helpful. Hearing him interact with other guests confirmed that the great service wasn't just with our party. We sat outside and really enjoyed the nice weather and the classic car show. But the outdoor furniture is a problem. The chairs are brutally uncomfortable and need to be upgraded. I hope that's something that'll be different by the next time we visit.

The staff are kind, the food was great, nice old Irish pub feel, they do catering if you are interested.

Truly great Irish food. I have been here 3-4 times, and everyone I’ve introduced it to has agreed. $10 lunch special is also an incredible deal, and I truly appreciate there commitment to quality ingredients such as using karrygold butter on the grilled cheese. Shepard pie with lamb instead of beef was new to me and out of this world
